Another strong contingent of Denmark golfers participated in the 2017 Drummond Golf Women’s Country week. Bronze division Denmark Ladies’ attending this year were Lesley Owen, Jo Haub, Maria Amesz, Jane Dudley, Shirley Dempster and Lesley Wiles. Marion Nelson and Christine Randall competed in the Silver Division.

Those of us who chose to play in the Canadian Foursomes at Sun City on Wednesday 30 August had to leave very early for the first hit offs of the day.  We had a great game of golf in another lovely city club.

The  main days of the 2017 Drummond Golf Women’s Country week were held at Kwinana Golf Club on Thursday and at Royal Perth Golf Club on Friday.

All the Denmark players had some degree of success but those who stood out were Marion Nelson who was the winner of the 36 hole Gross for the Silver division for players from home clubs with grass greens.  Lesley Owen who was the 36 hole Nett runner up  for the Bronze division for players from home clubs with grass greens.  Congratulations to Marion and Lesley.
